Xolo One HD

Xolo has launched a new smartphone in ''One'' series Xolo One HD. It sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6580M Quad Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz with Mali 400MP2 GPU and is coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD . It has 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has  Dual SIM with 3G and 2G support, Bluetooth 4.0. This handset has 2300 mAh battery.

The Xolo One HD comes in White Color and is exclusively available on Amazon.in priced at Rs. 4,777.
The Company said that the registrations for sale will begin in 3 days.

Lenovo K4 Note teaser

A latest teaser by Lenovo on Twitter confirmed that the upcoming Lenovo K4 Note will come equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back and a NFC chip. The teaser image again shows us the smartphone's brushed metal frame.

Lenovo has previously confirmed in a teaser that K4 Note will pack 3GB RAM and Dolby Atoms speakers. We still don't know other specifications of the phone, but it is expected that Lenovo will reveal all the specs one by one in several teasers in upcoming days.

Lenovo has already confirmed that the K4 Note will be launched on 5th January, 2016 at an event in New Delhi.

Various smartphone manufacturers have begun rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates to their devices and many have announced their update roadmap for their devices. One of China's largest smartphone manufacturers Xiaomi has revealed Android 6.0 Marshmallow roadmap for Mi Note, Mi 4 Mi 3, that will be rolled out to these devices very soon, with a new version of MIUI 7.

According to the report by GizmoChina Xiaomi's MIUI operations manager said that Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is in its final testing stage and will start rolling out to these devices soon, with a new version of MIUI 7. We also expect that the new MIUI v7 will be rolled out to Xiaomi's  other devices but it is not clear that will this update come with new version of Android.

A user on his Weibo page has posted a screenshot of MIUI 5.12.24 update based on Android Marshmallow, showing the update size is 518MB.

HTC One X9

HTC has launched a new smartphone in 'One X' series the One X9 smartphone.
It sports a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 64 bit Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz with PowerVR G6200 GPU and is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 2TB. It has a 13MP rear camera which can record 4K videos with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP Ultrapixel front facing camera.


Android version is not specified by company yet, but there are chances that it might be released running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It has Dual BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. It has dual SIM support with 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 and 5 GHz) and has a 3000 mAh battery.

HTC One X9 come in Grey and Silver colors and is priced in China at 2399 Yuan ($370) and will go on sale in China very soon, No information about India availability yet.

Moto G 3rd Gen

Motorola has been one of the best Android manufacturer in updating their handset to latest iterations of Android, after updating most of its smartphones of 2015 series. Motorola has  just started updating the Moto G 3rd Gen to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Android 6.0 comes with new handful features like Doze mode - which increases phone's battery life by closing all the background apps while phone's screen is off, Google Now on Tap, new app permissions and extended support of microSD cards by which you can combine your microSD card with internal storage to increase phone's storage.

The update is live in US and Canada for Unlocked devices first, more carriers and other countries will shortly get the update and the update size is 2GB.

Before starting the upgrade be sure to charge the device at least 50% and if possible connect it to a power source and get a faster Wi-Fi connection so the update will be downloaded shortly.

Mediatek helio x20
Helio X20 processor was announced by MediaTek in May this year that was world's first Soc to have 10 cores and tri-cluster design. Now the SoC has been surfaced on Geekbench scoring really high for multi core performance.

 It scored 2094 points in single-core test and a massive 7037 points in multi-core test, surpassing all the current SoC available in market as of now. The X20 processor has 4 power efficient Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz, another 4 Cortex A53 cores clocked at a higher 2.0 GHz and two Cortex A72 performance cores clocked in at 2.5 GHz.
The Helio X20 is said to enter mass production in the second quarter of 2016.

Xiaomi Mi5 has been leaked several times until now, today another leak for the device has been surfaced that gives us a clear look at the device.

As per the leak, the Mi 5 sports a 5.2 inch 1080p display, 2.5D glass sheet on front and 3D glass on the back. Powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 820 Quad Core CPU coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage.

It will come with 16MP rear camera and 13MP front facing camera. Android 6.0 with MIUI v7 will be there. There will be metal frame on bottom of the phone and has USB Type C port. This phone also comes with home button and Fingerprint sensor embedded into home button. This handset will be powered by a 3,600 mAh non-removable  battery.

According to the leaked info, the 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage will cost 1,999 Yuan ($308) and 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage model will cost at 2,299 Yuan ($354).

Samsung Galaxy A9

Samsung launched a new smartphone in Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A9 at an event in China. It sports a 6 inch full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa Core 64 bit processor with Adreno 510 GPU coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB.

Samsung Galaxy A9

It runs on Samsung's own Touchwiz UI based on Android Lollipop 5.1.1. It has 13 MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash and 8MP front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. This handset is packed with a Fingerprint Sensor embedded  into home button. It has dual SIM support with 4G LTE, NFC and packs a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging. It has metal frame and glass back similar to the Galaxy S6 series smartphones.

The Galaxy A9 comes in While, Gold and Pink colors. Company has not announced pricing and availability yet.

Xolo had previously launched its smartphone under the Black brand in July this year. Today, the company has launched an upgraded version of Xolo Black with 3GB RAM.

The Xolo Black sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection with oleophobic coating and is powered by 2nd-gen Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 Soc and Adreno 405 GPU coupled with 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB with microSD. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for depth mapping that lets you click the image first and adjust the focus later.

This smartphone runs on HIVE Atlas UI on top Android 5.0 Lollipop.
This phone comes with Hybrid dual SIM that lets you use secondary SIM slot as a MicroSD slot when required. It has 4G LTE,3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS. It packs a 3200 mAh battery.

This handset is exclusively available on Snapdeal and is priced at Rs. 11,999. Registration for the device starts at 8PM and the phone will be available via flash sale on December 29.

HTC One M9

As promised earlier, HTC is rolling out Android Marshmallow 6.0 update to HTC One M9 unlocked version. HTC's VP of Product Manager MO Versi has revealed via his twitter account that the Android Marshmallow update will be rolling out to HTC One M9 in next 24 hours. However the update is rolling out to unlocked versions of the M9 in the US and has not commented on the global rollout yet.
