Xiaomi has reduced the price of Xiaomi Mi4, Mi4i and Redmi Note Prime. Mi4 16GB version is now available for Rs. 12,999, Mi4i for Rs. 9,999 for a limited period and Redmi Note Prime  has got permanent price cut to 500 Rupees and is available for Rs. 7999 from today.

Price cut for Mi4 and Mi4i is temporary as a part of Mi Week Sale on Amazon India and  the offer will last till February 19th.



Xiaomi first started assembling Redmi 2 and later on Redmi Note Prime at its Sri city facility in Andhra Pradesh. As a part of Mi Week, Amazon is also offering cashback up to Rs. 1000 for Standard Chartered Bank Credit and Debit Card on purchase of Mi4, Mi4i, Redmi 2 Prime and Redmi Note Prime (White) till February 19th.



As Xiaomi Mi5 is scheduled to be launched on 24th February, we are seeing new information about this device every day.
First Xiaomi's Senior VP Liwan Jiang confirmed that the device will be launched on February 24th at a media event, now Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra has, confirmed three most important features of the device- Display resolution, NFC and Dual-SIM connectivity. He posted a screenshot of his Mi5’s homescreen on twitter and asked peoples to check what is new. He posted- “Here’s a little sneak preview of my #Mi5 home screen. Spot anything new? As seen on image, the smartphone will have NFC support, watch at  the right side after NFC logo you will find the Dual SIM network that means the smartphone will come with dual SIM card slots, which confirms previous rumors for the NFC and Dual SIM Connectivity. The screenshot shared by Hugo Barra is 1920*1080 pixels, which confirms at least one variant of the handset will have a 1080p display. The premium version of  Mi5 is expected to feature a 2K  resolution QHD display. As per the leaks, it will be powered by Snapdragon  820 processor.

The Mi5 will be available in two variants one with metal back and a 1080p full HD display, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, the premium version will have a glass back and a 2K QHD display with 4GB RAM and 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage.
Both variants will be equipped with a 16MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 8MP front-facing shooter, will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUIv7 and a 3600 mAh battery with fast charging support. The smartphone is also rumored to be available as a Windows 10 Mobile variant as well.

Finally, Wait is over! Xiaomi's Senior VP Liwan Jiang announced that the company will take the wraps off of the much awaited smartphone the Xiaomi Mi5 on February 24th, during at an event. The executive said that more details about unveiling will be released on January 26th.

The device has been leaked several times with a number of images. The Mi5 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, the chipset could be the reason for manufacturer to delay the launch. To recap, the Mi5 is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 under the hood with Adreno 530 GPU,  will sport a 5.2-inch Quad HD 2.5D dual curved display. There could be 3GB RAM, 4GB RAM and 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of internal storage variants. MIUI latest version will be running on top of Android Marshmallow.

According to previous leaks,  the Mi5 will be equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. It will get power from a 3030 mAh battery.

Xiaomi has today launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro, the Company's latest device in Redmi series. It is an upgraded version of Redmi Note 3 which was announced back in November 2015.

It sports a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full HD IPS display. It is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 (Known as Snapdragon 618 previously) 64-bit SoC with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in two variants one with 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage,  While another with 3GB/32GB internal storage. It sports an-all metal build and a Fingerprint scanner at back,  runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top of it.

It photography compartment it packs a 16 mega-pixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera, it also has  Infrared Sensor (IR). This dual-SIM handset comes with 4G LTE support, 3G, Wi-Fi (2.4,/ 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The Redmi Note 3 Pro packs a massive 4000 mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro comes in Silver, Dark Grey and Champagne Gold  color options and will be available from January 17th priced at 999 Yuan (Rs. 10,150) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage. No details about 3GB RAM.

Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain tweeted a teaser about something excited to be announced tomorrow. The image reads "Mi Generation T-24 hours to lift off" and tweeted "An exciting announcement  will happen tomorrow :) Always believe something wonderful is about to happen."  We are not sure what exactly does it mean.

Probably the company may announce a new device tomorrow, Mi TV or any other accessory or they might offer discount on already launched products. The company might also launch recently launched Redmi 3 smartphone in India tomorrow. It sports an all-metal back with textured rear panel and is powered by Snapdragon 616 processor with 2GB of RAM.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that Mi5 will be launched in February this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. Since then wait for tomorrow when something excited is about to happen.

The leaked image shows a well designed smartphone with 2.5D curved glass on front and back of the smartphone.  This is reportedly the lower end version of Mi5 with 1080p display. It will feature 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

There will also be a premium variant with 1440p display. The screen size of both devices will be 5.2-inch and will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 under the hood, While higher end variant will sport 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

Both the phones will have 16MP rear Camera and 13-megapixel camera at the front. There will also be a fingerprint scanner embedded into home button of the handset.

The phone is expected to be announced on January 21st and is expected to be available for purchase from February 8th.


After releasing several teasers, Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi 3. It is priced at only 699 Yuan (Rs. 7,100). Despite the low price tag, the Xiaomi Redmi 3 sports a full-metal body and a uniquely patterned back.

The Redmi 3 has a 5-inch HD display with (720*1280) pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card. Unlike Redmi 2 this one features a Hybrid dual-SIM card slot which means you can use two SIM cards or One SIM card and a microSD at a single time.

In the photography compartment, the Redmi 3 is paired with a 13-megapixel rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and a LED flash, while there is a 5-megapixel camera on front side. It gets power from a 4100 mAh battery. The Redmi 3 runs on MIUI 7, android version is not specified but if it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow then the built in Doze mode will surely help users to save battery and help users to put off charging the device for even longer than usual.

The Redmi 3 is available in White, Grey and Gold color variants and  priced at 699 Yuan ($106) going on sale in China Tomorrow. There is however no word on when it could launch in India and other markets.

Xiaomi has teased Redmi 3 smartphone with metal back. It is the sequel of Xiaomi Redmi 2, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 has already passed TENAA certification. According to TENAA certification this smartphone will sport a 5'' 720p display 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. A 13 mega-pixel rear camer and 5 mega-pixel front-facing shooter is also in tow. It will get power from a massive 4100 mAh battery with thicknes of 8.5mm.

According to teaser image it will have ''all-metal-design'' just like Redmi Note 3
The smartphone will be launched on January, 12th. The smartphone will be priced at a remarkable $100.
