As announced earlier, Xiaomi has started rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for Xiaomi Mi 4. This update is based on Android 6.0.1 with MIUI v7.
The Marshmallow OTA build is about 100 MB in size, reports GSMArena. The latest update brings a number of new tweaks and features in the UI to make it much stable.
Xiaomi said that Marshmallow update will come along with new features like, the Immersive status bar will now have support for every app. Camera quality is much better and is more faster when capturing images. The display is even more bright and contents are easily viewable even at lower point of the slider.
Marshmallow doesn't affect the quick charging at any point, the device can be fully charged quickly. Xiaomi has put their efforts to optimize RAM performance, device performs well even around 15-16 apps are opened in the background.
The Xiaomi Mi4 was originally launched in India last year, running Android 4.4.3 KitKat. The company rolled out Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the device in October 2015. Xiaomi has announced that Xiaomi Mi3, Mi Note and will be updated to Android Marshmallow soon.
