Qualcomm showcased Snapdragon Flight smart drone's capabilities in a Promo Video

Qualcomm had announced the Snapdragon Flight back in September,  2015, it is a development platform to build the future of drones and consumer robots. Today the company showcased its capabilities in a short video on YouTube. The video features a 1:20 seconds video and shows Snapdragon flight in action and some of its features.

According to video the drone uses a camera that can record 4K videos , it uses built-in a sensors that offer 3D mapping. The snapdragon flight also comes with motion planning and obstacle mapping. The drone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core SoC clocked at 2.26 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU, has dual-band 2.2GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a Global Navigation Satellite System receiver.

It comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge Support. The drone is expected to be made by Yuneec. Qualcomm will also offer a demo of this drone at the upcoming CES 2016 event.
