Lenovo K5 Note with 5.5-inch Full HD Display and Fingerprint Sensor announced in China


Lenovo has today announced the K5 Note,  the successor of Lenovo K4 Note,  after it got certified by TENAA in China.

It boats an all-metal unibody design. It packs a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display, powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC clocked at 1.8 GHz with Mali T860 GPU, paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable storage up to 128GB with microSD. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top of it.

It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor with PDAF and Dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It also comes with Fingerprint sensor placed on back of the smartphone, just like Lenovo K4 Note which was recently launched in India.

It features Dolby Atmos speakers and a dedicated audio chip for enhanced audio experience. This handset supports Dual SIM connectivity with 4G LTE,  3G HSPA+,  Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It packs a 3500 mAh battery.

The Lenovo K5 Note comes in Golden and Silver colors and is priced at 1099 Yuan ($167). It is now available for order in China.  No words on the global launch yet.
