Intex has today launched a new smartphone in Cloud series,  the Cloud 4G. It sports a 5-inch (854×540 pixels)  FWVGA display and is powered by Quad Core Spreadtrum SC9830 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB with microSD.

It has dual SIM support with 4G LTE. It uses a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Other features includes 3G HSPA +,  Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and a 2000 mAh battery.

Asus Live

Asus has today launched a new smartphone in Brazil, Asus Live.  It is Actually the Re-Branded Zenfone Go, that was launched in India last year.

It packs the same 5-inch HD display and is powered by Quad Core MediaTek MT6580 CPU with Mali-400 MP2 GPU and is coupled with 2GB RAM,  16GB internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD.

It runs on Zen UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, has 8MP rear Camera With LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera. It has built in Digital TV,  which is quite common in smartphones in Brazil. It has got Dual SIM support with 3G HSPA+,  wi-fi, Bluetooth and GPS.  This device gets power from 2070 mAh battery.

The Asus Live comes in Pink,  Yellow and Blue color and is available for purchase for a price tag of 849 Brazilian Real ($211).

Xiaomi has today launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro, the Company's latest device in Redmi series. It is an upgraded version of Redmi Note 3 which was announced back in November 2015.

It sports a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full HD IPS display. It is powered by a Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 (Known as Snapdragon 618 previously) 64-bit SoC with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in two variants one with 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage,  While another with 3GB/32GB internal storage. It sports an-all metal build and a Fingerprint scanner at back,  runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top of it.

It photography compartment it packs a 16 mega-pixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera, it also has  Infrared Sensor (IR). This dual-SIM handset comes with 4G LTE support, 3G, Wi-Fi (2.4,/ 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The Redmi Note 3 Pro packs a massive 4000 mAh battery with fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro comes in Silver, Dark Grey and Champagne Gold  color options and will be available from January 17th priced at 999 Yuan (Rs. 10,150) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage. No details about 3GB RAM.

Chinese Internet Giant and one of the popular smartphone brand in China has announced that it is re-branding the company name as LeEco. The company has also unveiled a new logo at the event.

Originally founded in 2004 as a video website, LeEco has now become a major name in many technology based products, it offers Internet TV, Online media streaming, smart gadgets and e-commerce and many other services.

Regarding LeEco's strategic goal of globalization, VP of Strategy,  Ablikim Ablimit said:

The word “TV” has been eliminated from all sub-ecosystem logos, showing that LeEco has fully grown from a video website in 2004 into a full-featured “eco world” integrating Platform, Content, Device and Application. After the full
implementation of LeEco’s seven sub-ecosystems in 2015, LeEco’s strategic focus in 2016 will be on globalization,
global open ecosystem, and achieving perfect synergy among the sub-ecosystems. LeEco’s strategic goal of globalization is to not only make its
products available in major global markets but also bring it's entire ecosystem to major regions and countries of the world, and provide the ultimate experience and superior value to users in those countries and regions. LeEco will enter into Indian Market on January 20th, 2016 by launching the Le Max and Le1s smartphones.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy J1 2016, successor of last year's Galaxy J1 in UAE.

It runs on Android Lollipop.  This dual SIM device comes with 4G LTE,  3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and GPS support. This smartphone gets power from a 2050 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) comes in Gold,  White and Black color options and is available in UAE priced at AED 499 (Rs. 9080).

Jide,  the company popular for it's Android emulator - Remix OS, has just made Jide OS 2.0 free for download. With Remix OS 2.0 Windows users can dual-boot between Android/Windows and Android/Mac.

Remix OS is built on the Android-x86 project,  an unofficial initiative by Google that attempts to port the Android OS for use on x86 processors, such as today's most PCs are powered by this architecture of chipsets. Jide says that this an alpha version aimed towards developers and enthusiast who won't mind "a bug or two".

Using Remix OS 2.0 users can install many Android apps and games and can play them on PCs.  The Remix OS 2.0 can also be flashed into a USB flash drive.  Once that's done, the OS can be booted directly from flash drive. Whenever an user boots from USB drive,  two options will be presented.  You can either load Remix OS 2.0 in "Guest mode" which will delete every modification you made, upon reset or in "Resident" mode,  where your changes and your docs are saved in the flash drive.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), has today launched its 4G services in Chandigarh with broadband speeds up to 100 Mbps on mobile phones.

The company has published an advertisement in local newspaper about the launch, the advertisement says "Now enjoy lightening speeds up to 1000 Mbps on mobile, home fixed phones and for enterprise."

BSNL has 4G spectrum in India across except in Gujrat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Kolkata. The company has also teamed up with Reliance Jio,  which holds Pan-India 4G, to offer high speed Internet to its customers.

LG has sent out media invites for it's MWC event which is set for February 21 at MWC Barcelona.

MWC is an electronic show with actual focus on new smartphones launch which kicks off on February 22nd 2016. Samsung is expected to announce Galaxy S7 and S7 edge at the event, While HTC is also expected to unveil new devices.

LG has scheduled the event just before one day when will MWC will start. The invite reads "Play begins" on that day. LG may announce LG G5 at the event,  but no wait...... LG typically announce the new "G" series flagship in April or May. So LG G5 may not be announced at MWC,  but what will we get- an gaming focused smartphone or a audio-focused device.  We still do not know what LG could unveil,  Stay tuned for updates as LG will announce any device we will let you know. Lenovo has today launched Lenovo Lemon 3 in the Lemon series. It is packed with a 5-inch (1080*1920 pixels) full HD display which counts for approx 441ppi pixel density and is powered by an 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU.

This smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash , the rear camera can record videos at 1080 pixels and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. This Dual- SIM handset comes with 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi-, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.

It features an all-metal back similar as of Redmi 3 , has back stereo speakers with Dolby Audio for enhanced audio experience. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Company's Vibe UI on top of it, thickness is 7.99mm and weight with battery is 142 grams. Lenovo Lemon 3 gets power from 2750 mAh battery.

The Lenovo Lemon 3 comes in Gold and Silver color options and is priced at 699 Yuan (Rs. 7,110) and is now available from official Lenovo store in China.

Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain tweeted a teaser about something excited to be announced tomorrow. The image reads "Mi Generation T-24 hours to lift off" and tweeted "An exciting announcement  will happen tomorrow :) Always believe something wonderful is about to happen."  We are not sure what exactly does it mean.

Probably the company may announce a new device tomorrow, Mi TV or any other accessory or they might offer discount on already launched products. The company might also launch recently launched Redmi 3 smartphone in India tomorrow. It sports an all-metal back with textured rear panel and is powered by Snapdragon 616 processor with 2GB of RAM.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that Mi5 will be launched in February this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. Since then wait for tomorrow when something excited is about to happen.
