Asus Zenfone Zoom launched with 4GB RAM and 13 MP 4x optical zoom camera

Asus has announced Zenfone 2 series of devices back in January during CES.  The most powerful of those handsets actually sported a 4 GB RAM and was also the first such smartphone to hit the market. The Zenfone did not costs all that much and is still quite a good option for those who don't want to spend much money on a smartphone.

The comapny has launched a number of zenfone devices this year and has now launched a new handset in China.
The company has announced the Zenfone Zoom that sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display. The smartphone is powered by Intel Z3590 SoC  along with PowerVR G6430 GPU and has 4 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB internal storage.
The 13 MP OIS shooter is located on back and it offers 3x optical and 12x digital Zoom. It runs on Zen UI on top of Android lollipop 5.1 and comes with 3100 mAh battery.  The 64 GB variant will be available for 433$ and 128 GB variant will be available for 459$. The company has not revealed any information about availability , but the handset is expected to be available soon.
