YU,the online only brand in india is owned by Indian Smartphone maker Micromax. They have released some really interesting devices , since their launch ( December 2014 ). The company has unveiled four phones thus far, and the fifth one will be annonced soon ( on December 17 ) . All the phones YU unveiled are the entry level or Mid- range handsets , and the company's Flasgship handset is about to be unveiled in just two days.
This handset wiil be called YU Yutopia and the company has been teasing this handset for quite some time now. The company was planning to unveil this handset on 7th December , but they have decided to postpone the launch to 17th December. The reason for that it seems that they are planning to announce a second device as well. YU said that the smartphone will pack premium specs.
According to leaked specs ,the phone
will sport a 5 inch QHD screen and will feature an all metal body ,the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Processor. Depending upon the variant the device will come with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The 21 MP snapper is expcted to be available on back of the phone and 8 MP on front. The device wil come powered by Cyanogen OS 12.1 and is possible that it will be updated to Cyanogen OS 13 very soon.
