The Xiaomi Mi 5 has been leaking from some months. A lot of people expecting this device to be unveiled tn July this Year and in November also , but the company was waiting for Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor to be available. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 will be available to manufacturers in January next year and according to latest report Xiaomi Mi 5 will be announced on January 21st. The Xiaomi's CEO has also confirmed the same.
The specs of this device has been leaked various times until now, and interestingly enough OppoMart ( the Chinese online retailer ) has just listed the device. According to OppoMart the Mi5 will sport a 5.5 inch QHD supporting 2560*1440 pixels which accounts for 515 ppi. It wil be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor clocked at 2.5 Ghz and 3,800 mAh battery inside. The 20 MP shotter will be available on back and 8 MP on front. The phone will pack 4GB RAM with 16/64/128 GB internal storage. The device will support Global 4G FDD LTE Bands. The phone is also rumored to sport a physical home button which will double up as a fingerprint sensor and will be running MIUI V7 on top of Android lollipop or Marshmallow.
