Micromax has announced that it will invest RS. 300 Crores in India in order to set up three new manufacturing units in the country , according to a latest report from The hindu business line.
The Company will be investing RS. 300 Crores to set up three new plants in Rajasthan, Telengana, Andhra Pradesh. The latest move will help company to increase domestic production and for Micromax to reduce dependence on imports from China. Micromax will produce about 4 Million units Per Year, Once all the plants become Operational.
The Company will invest RS.100 Crores each in these three new plants.
Micromax aims to provide employement of about 10,500 (3,500) peoples in each of the factory.
At present the company has an assembly unit in Rudrapur, Uttrakhand.
Mr. Aggarwal further said that by 2017 company will start making batteries and other components in India and will export to other markets from India as well.
