Samsung is rumored to be working on a slightly downgraded version of Exynos 8890, the 8870 using the same 14nm manufacturing process with CPU cores and Mali-T880 MP12 GPU. A user on Weibo said that this CPU will use the same custom designed CPU cores based on 64-Bit ARMv8 architecture, but the clock speed of this CPU will be slightly reduced as compared to Exynos 8890.
According to the rumors Samsung is preparing this chipset for OEMs such as Meizu, Lenovo and others. Meizu's Pro 6 smartphone has been leaked to use this processor. Meizu had used Exynos processor in their previous devices so it is quite obvious that they can use this processor in their upcoming smartphone.
