Microsoft has recently launched the Lumia 650 and Lumia 650 Dual SIM smartphones. Both smartphones packs a 5-inch (720*1280 pixels) HD AMOLED display and are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 quad core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled and runs on Windows 10 Mobile.



It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage that can be expanded up to 200GB with microSD card. These handsets comes packed with a 8-megapixel AF rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. Both cameras can record HD videos. Dual SIM support is present here (only in Lumia 650 Dual SIM) with other connectivity features includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS and a 2000 mAh removable battery packed inside the smartphone.

The Microsoft Lumia 650 and Lumia 650 Dual SIM comes in Matte Black and Matte White colors and will be available in select European markets starting from February 18th priced at $199.



Microsoft has officially unveiled the Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM feature phones. This is a selfie focused feature phone with 2-megapixel camera on both sides with LED Flash.

It packs a 2.8-inch (320*240 pixels) display and a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and one more 2MP front-facing camera, has expandable storage up to 32GB with microSD and runs on 30+OS.

This handset has 2G, Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam Sharing feature and FM Radio. It comes with Opera Mini Browser, MSN and Bing Search. It has a 1200 mAh battery that gives up to 21hour of talktime and up to 22days standby.

The Nokia 230 Dual SIM comes in Silver and dark Silver colors and is priced at Rs. 3,949 in India.


Windows 10 Mobile

Microsoft launched the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones back in October running windows 10 Mobile,  and said that Windows 10 Mobile update for existing devices (running Windows Phone 8.1) will be available in December 2015. Later it said that the update is delayed till January 2016.

Now, According to Venture Beat Windows 10 update rollout to current Windows Phone 8 smartphones will be delayed by another month.

When asked, Microsoft in an e-mail said them that the update is not ready yet to rollout and legacy handset upgrade will start rolling out early to mid February. Since it is delayed, current Lumia smartphones will get the latest Windows 10 build along with February service update.

Microsoft has confirmed the device which will be updated to Windows 10 Mobile are; Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL,  Lumia 735, Lumia 830 and Lumia 930.
