After launching the iRist smartwatch Intex has today launched the FitRist, company’s first Fitness Band in Indian market. The FitRist smartband features a 0.86-inch (96*32 pixels) OLED display, is compatible with Android devices running Android 4.3 or Above & iOS 7 or Above. It uses Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to Android & iPhone devices.

There are already some fitness bands available in india like Mi Band, the FitRist smartband will be competing with as likes of Xiaomi’s Mi Band and other smartbands available in India. It monitors user’s  fitness activities and is water resistant.  There is an app on which users can check their activities. This smartband can also be used for media controls on your handset. The FitRist’s battery can last up to 12 days and weighs 21g. It has 3-axis accelerometer sensors.

The Intex FitRist comes in Black and White colors and will be  exclusively available form Snapdeal priced at Rs. 999.

ENRG,  a lifestyle electronics company has today launched the Actiwear fitness band and sleep monitor. The Smartband connects to smartphone via Bluetooth and sports a water resistant OLED screen.

The smartband tracks activities,  calories burned,  distance traveled (using built in Pedometer) and sleep patterns. It shows real time notification for new messages,  incoming, incoming calls.  The OLED display shows users the current time and battery level and users can also  check the activities such as (step count,  calories) etc. The screen has touch and gesture support (twist your wrist)  to move through options. It comes with silent alarm functionality to wake you up with vibrations.

The OLED display is 0.91-inch in size with touch screen and gesture control support and has IP67 rating that means it is water resistant.  Users need Zeroner Health App to be installed on their Android or iPhone to connect with this Smart band, it connects to smartphones using Bluetooth 4.0.  It gets power from a 75 mAh battery which lasts up to 4 days said Company.
