Lenovo has announced Vibe S1 Lite, its new selfie centric smartphone. It is downgraded version of Vibe S1with dual selfie cameras which was launched in India in November, 2015.

The Vibe S1 has a single 8 mega-pixel front facing camera using Sony sensor with soft LED flash for better images capturing in low light conditions.

It uses the same 5-inch Full HD display as of Vibe S1. It is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek Octa Core MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It has a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, BSI sensor and a 8 mega-pixel front facing camera with LED flash.

It runs on Vibe UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Vibe S1 Lite has Hybrid dual SIM support with 4G LTE, 3G and 2G. Other features includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0. The handset gets power from 2700 mAh battery.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite comes in Matte Blue and Matte White color options and is priced at $199.

After teasing it's K4 Note smartphone various times Lenovo is all set to launch it's all new Lenovo K4 Note smartphone later today at an event in New, Delhi.

Lenovo K4 Note is upgraded version of Lenovo K3 Note which was launched last year on Flipkart and had set new benchmarks in sub-Rs. 10,000 phablets in India by offering 2GB RAM and 1080p display at such a reasonable price.

From the teasers released so far, we know that the K4 Note will have brushed metal frame on back, a killer display- we still don't know what company will offer in display compartment, NFC chip, a Fingerprint sensor on back, it will also come with dual front facing speakers.

The device will come equipped with 3GB RAM as compared to 2GB on K3 Note and 32GB of internal storage which is 16GB in case of K3 Note.

Last year top two selling smartphones on Flipkart were both from Lenovo, so it is expected that this device will also come with great features just like K3 Note at a reasonable price. It is expected to be priced between Rs.10,000- Rs. 15,000
Other details are unknown at the moment. But we will let you know all the specs and features of the phone when it launches later today.

As expected Asus launched their Zenfone Max in India which is exclusively available from Flipkart for Rs. 9,999. The highlight about this phone is that it has a massive 5000 mAh battery which gives battery backup of up to 38 days in Standby mode, as per the company.

It sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display. It is powered by Snapdragon 410 quad core chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB. This handset runs on ZenUI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has dual SIM support with 4G LTE. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5MP front facing camera.

Other features includes 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, and GPS. The 5000 mAh battery is user removable.

Asus Zenfone Max is available for pre-order on Flipkart for Rs. 9,999 in White and Black color options.

Alcatel OneTouch has revealed four new smartphones in Pixi 4 series. The series includes 3.5-inch and a 4-inch smartphone, a 6-inch Phablet and a 7-inch Tablet. While Company did not revealed the specs outside of screen sizes.

Alcatel OneTouch calls them "premium entey-level devices". Alcatel says that the series offers the best feature and design in low-end mobile and tablet market. The company says that these devices offers superior camera and battery life.
Besides these devices there is one more Tablet the Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3 and CareTime Children's Watch .

The Pixi 3 comes with a 8-inch display and runs on Windows 10 Mobile & CareTime watch has 2G connectivity. Parents can call their kids and can send  voice messages for their kids. The kids can call using 5 registered phone numbers and can answer calls from 10 preset contacts. The watch also allows parents to set up " safe zone" feature. When a child leaves the safe zone, the watch immediately notifies  their parents.

Asus Zenfone Max that was announced earlier in Zenfone series comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery. Asus has announced that the phone is launching on January 4th, 2016.

Zenfone Max is powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 410 quad core CPU with Adreno 306 GPU. The smartphone is packed with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with expandable storage up to 64GB. It sports a 5.5 inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It has a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 mega-pixel front facing camera. The smartphone runs on ZenUI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has dual SIM with 4G LTE support, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS.

The Asus Zenfone Max houses a massive  5000 mAh battery and as per the company it will give up to 37 hours of talk-time.

Jolla started its journey by funding of Jolla Tablet back in 2014 via Indiegogo campaign, the campaign was started in November 2014 bringing more than $2.5 milion from 21,637 backers.

 Jolla says that the first small batch of Tablets were shipped to some backers around October 2015. Then they had some serious funding issue and they were forced to postpone the whole project schedule many times.

According to Jolla, they  faced  serious financial challenge in November and December. Now that they have received some new financial backing  and their financial situation has been improved so they can get back to Normal Operations. Now Jolla said that it will ship an additional small batch of Jolla Tablet in January 2016.

Jolla's Representative stated that:
"The bad news here is that we are not able to complete the production to fulfill all contributions. In other words, all of our backers will not get a Jolla Tablet. However, you can be sure you will not end up empty handed. We might even have some positive surprises in stock for you. But more on that will follow, feel free to
speculate!

As  we told you earlier, Moto G 2015 in U.S. has already got it's Android Marshmallow update. Now Motorola India has announced  on twitter that the Moto G 2015 is getting Marshmallow in India.

Motorola re-entered in India in 2014 with Moto G, and after that time Moto G has been their top seller. Moto G 3rd Gen was launched in July, 2015. It sports a 5-inch HD 720p IPS LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, now unlike other Moto phones this is waterproof also and can survive for up to 30 minutes under 1 meter water. It is powered by Snapdragon 410 CPU with Adreno 306 GPU and has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It runs on stock Android 5.1 Lollipop until now. It has a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 mega-pixel front facing camera. It gets power from 2470 mAh battery.

Motorola has recently launched Moto Turbo in India that has all the same specifications as of Moto G 2015 except, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and has turbo charging support.
Android 6.0 comes with new handful features like Doze mode - which increases phone's battery life by closing all the background apps while phone is idle, Google Now on Tap, new app permissions and extended support of microSD cards by which you can combine your microSD card with internal storage to increase phone's storage. 

The update weighs 2GB. So,before starting the upgrade make sure to charge
the device at least 80% and get a good Wi-Fi or 3G connection so the update will be downloaded shortly.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India ( TRAI ) has revealed that India reached 1.03 billion mark of mobile-phone subscribers in month of October and only left behind China in the world. China hits One billion users mark in 2012 and number of users are growing day by day.

India surpassed U.S. in 2008 and never looked back. India's mobile phone subscriber base is growing over the years to a size that is more than triple the U.S. 's current population. Even though phone bill in India are among the cheapest in the World. India's top carrier Bharti Airtel has more than 200 million subscribers which is almost America's half population.

The increase of mobile users in India is specially because Carriers are reducing price of tarrifs and launch of affordable and budget smartphones in country by national and International brands.

Qualcomm had announced the Snapdragon Flight back in September,  2015, it is a development platform to build the future of drones and consumer robots. Today the company showcased its capabilities in a short video on YouTube. The video features a 1:20 seconds video and shows Snapdragon flight in action and some of its features.

According to video the drone uses a camera that can record 4K videos , it uses built-in a sensors that offer 3D mapping. The snapdragon flight also comes with motion planning and obstacle mapping. The drone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core SoC clocked at 2.26 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU, has dual-band 2.2GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a Global Navigation Satellite System receiver.

It comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge Support. The drone is expected to be made by Yuneec. Qualcomm will also offer a demo of this drone at the upcoming CES 2016 event.

Asus had launched the Pegasus X003 smartphone back in May, 2015, now the Pegasus X005 has been certified by TENAA (US's FCC equivalent in China). According to TENAA certification documents the Asus Pegasus X005 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080p display. The processor is not confirmed but it is likely MediaTek MT6753 Soc clocked at 1.3 GHz. coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The Asus Pegasus X005 comes in Blue, White and Gold colors. It is expected to be officially announced soon.
