Swipe the Indian Smartphone manufacturer has now entered in Wearables manufacturing and  launched F-Band, its first fitness and sleep tracker smartband that can calculate calories burned, track steps and can also monitor your sleep. It will connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth using a Mobile App. It also has silent vibration alarm and it vibrates to notify when you receive a call on your smartphone. It uses a small display to show all the data.

It has a 55 mAh battery that can be charged in 30 minutes and promises up to 7 days of battery life.

Meizu Pro 5

Samsung is rumored to be working on a slightly downgraded version of Exynos 8890, the 8870 using the same 14nm manufacturing process with CPU cores and Mali-T880 MP12 GPU. A user on Weibo said that this CPU will use the same custom designed CPU cores based on 64-Bit ARMv8 architecture, but the clock speed of this CPU will be slightly reduced as compared to Exynos 8890.

According to the rumors Samsung is preparing this chipset for OEMs such as Meizu, Lenovo and others. Meizu's Pro 6 smartphone has been leaked to use this processor. Meizu had used Exynos processor in their previous devices so it is quite obvious that they can use this processor in their upcoming smartphone.

There were rumors about LG G3 Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, but were denied by LG Poland executive, Mr. Jaroslaw Bukowski,. The LG executive tweeted that '' Yes, LG G3 will be updated to Marshmallow soon, in Poland. No, I don't know the date. No, I don't know when it's coming to other countries''.

Java hii

Google has confirmed that when the next version of Android will rollout, it will use the OpenJDK, the open source Java Development Kit from Oracle, instead of proprietary JDK that Google currently uses for its Java APIs. The news was first spotted by users on Y Combinator's Hacker News and then confirmed by VentureBeat.

Google is going to use OpenJDK because Android is an open Source platform so it makes sense that using OpenJDK will not only simplify code for developer to build apps, bit it allows them to make more contributions to the OpenJDK platform. Java is owned by Oracle as it had acquired Java from Sun Microsystems in 2010. This change of APIs for Android N and other Next versions of Android could make it  easier for the developer to make apps and other services, While it will not affect users that way they use Android.

Xiaomi is a company, which manufactures about everything tech related, but is especially known as a smartphone manufacturer. Xiaomi had launched the Mi TV 3 with 60-inch display with 11.6mm metal frame back in August and now, Xiaomi has launched upgraded version of its  Mi TV 3 Smart TV.

Microsoft Surface pro 4

Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella says at the company's Future Unleashed event in Mumbai that the Surface Pro 4 will launch in India in early January 2016. Today the company has sent out press invites for the launch of the device on January 7.

The Surface Pro 4 packs a 12.3-inch (2160×1440) pixels display and has PixelGlass that has 1024 different pressure sensitivity levels. It is powered by Intel Core M3 or i7 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and it supports up to 16GB RAM and up to 500 GB of storage. It supports fingerprint authentication on the new Type Cover for the device. According to the rumors the Surface Pro 4 is expected to priced at Rs 67,999.

Sony Xperia Z6 Lite is leaked recently, according to the leaked specifications the smartphone is expected to sport a 5-inch display with 2.5D curved glass, a metal back and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650.

It is rumored that Xperia Z6 will launch along with Xperia Z6 sometimes in May, 2016. The The Sony Xperia Z6 Lite is rumored to cost around 2,500 yuan ($385).

Lenovo has already announced that it will launch Lenovo K4 Note on January 5th, 2016 , now it seems that Lenovo does not wants to leave any chance to attract the customers, in its latest teaser Lenovo says that ''K4 Note has a Killer display''. LG had announced earlier that they will launch the Spirit LTE and G4 Stylus 4G smartphones with VoLTE and VoWiFi support in India in partnership with Reliance Retail, now the company has launched the Spirit 4G LTE with VoLTE ad VoWiFi. Yu had also launched the upgraded version of Yu Yunique's with VoLTE in partnership with Reliance Retail. New VoLTE and VoWiFi will enable faster transmission of data and service, said LG.

Lenovo K4 Note teaser

A latest teaser by Lenovo on Twitter confirmed that the upcoming Lenovo K4 Note will come equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back and a NFC chip. The teaser image again shows us the smartphone's brushed metal frame.

Lenovo has previously confirmed in a teaser that K4 Note will pack 3GB RAM and Dolby Atoms speakers. We still don't know other specifications of the phone, but it is expected that Lenovo will reveal all the specs one by one in several teasers in upcoming days.

Lenovo has already confirmed that the K4 Note will be launched on 5th January, 2016 at an event in New Delhi.

Various smartphone manufacturers have begun rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates to their devices and many have announced their update roadmap for their devices. One of China's largest smartphone manufacturers Xiaomi has revealed Android 6.0 Marshmallow roadmap for Mi Note, Mi 4 Mi 3, that will be rolled out to these devices very soon, with a new version of MIUI 7.

According to the report by GizmoChina Xiaomi's MIUI operations manager said that Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is in its final testing stage and will start rolling out to these devices soon, with a new version of MIUI 7. We also expect that the new MIUI v7 will be rolled out to Xiaomi's  other devices but it is not clear that will this update come with new version of Android.

HTC has launched a new smartphone in 'One X' series the One X9 smartphone.
It sports a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 64 bit Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz with PowerVR G6200 GPU and is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 2TB. It has a 13MP rear camera which can record 4K videos with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP Ultrapixel front facing camera.


Android version is not specified by company yet, but there are chances that it might be released running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Moto G 3rd Gen

Motorola has been one of the best Android manufacturer in updating their handset to latest iterations of Android, after updating most of its smartphones of 2015 series. Motorola has  just started updating the Moto G 3rd Gen to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Android 6.0 comes with new handful features like Doze mode - which increases phone's battery life by closing all the background apps while phone's screen is off, Google Now on Tap, new app permissions and extended support of microSD cards by which you can combine your microSD card with internal storage to increase phone's storage.

The update is live in US and Canada for Unlocked devices first, more carriers and other countries will shortly get the update and the update size is 2GB.

Before starting the upgrade be sure to charge the device at least 50% and if possible connect it to a power source and get a faster Wi-Fi connection so the update will be downloaded shortly.

Helio X20 processor was announced by MediaTek in May this year that was world's first Soc to have 10 cores and tri-cluster design. Now the SoC has been surfaced on Geekbench scoring really high for multi core performance.

The X20 processor has 4 power efficient Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz, another 4 Cortex A53 cores clocked at a higher 2.0 GHz and two Cortex A72 performance cores clocked in at 2.5 GHz.
The Helio X20 is said to enter mass production in the second quarter of 2016.

Xiaomi Mi5 has been leaked several times until now, today another leak for the device has been surfaced that gives us a clear look at the device.

As per the leak, the Mi 5 sports a 5.2 inch 1080p display, 2.5D glass sheet on front and 3D glass on the back. Powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 820 Quad Core CPU coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage.

It will come with 16MP rear camera and 13MP front facing camera. Android 6.0 with MIUI v7 will be there. There will be metal frame on bottom of the phone and has USB Type C port. This phone also comes with home button and Fingerprint sensor embedded into home button. This handset will be powered by a 3,600 mAh non-removable  battery.

According to the leaked info, the 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage will cost 1,999 Yuan ($308) and 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage model will cost at 2,299 Yuan ($354).

Samsung launched a new smartphone in Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A9 at an event in China. It sports a 6 inch full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa Core 64 bit processor with Adreno 510 GPU coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB.

HTC One M9

As promised earlier, HTC is rolling out Android Marshmallow 6.0 update to HTC One M9 unlocked version. HTC's VP of Product Manager MO Versi has revealed via his twitter account that the Android Marshmallow update will be rolling out to HTC One M9 in next 24 hours. However the update is rolling out to unlocked versions of the M9 in the US and has not commented on the global rollout yet.

TP-LINK, widely popular for its networking services has today announced that they are entering into Smart Phone market by launching devices under Neffos Brand. The brand name is taken from Greek language that means ''Cloud'' and also has an additional meaning ''Very Exciting'', said the Company.

Google is now working on a new way that allows users to login in to their account without entering the password, Google will let you login to desktop with just your phone. Once authenticated with Google, you will just need to input your email address in your phone. When you enter your email you will get a notification that someone is trying to login from another device. Once you approve the login you are good to go.

Flesky has announced that it has partnered with the Chinese  smartphone maker ZTE, to pre-install Flesky Keyboard on all new ZTE smartphones. As a result Flesky will be your default keyboard on ZTE handsets but can be changed if the user wants.

If you haven't got update notification then don't worry the update is rolling out in stages, so it can take time to the update to reach your phone. To manually check the update Go to Settings>About Phone>System Updates. Be sure to connected to Wi-Fi and make sure that battery is charged at lest 60%.
